W3c, World Wide Web Consortium have spoke on the release of much long awaited version of Html that it could hopefully be launched only after 2011 as most of the major web browsers needs to improve alot to suport full functionality of Html 5. Acording to Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C), the new version, Html 5 will change the web into a full-fledged computing platform specially video, animation and real-time interactions without any help of other scripting languages like JavaScript and others and most importantly hacks and plug-ins commonly used today with Html.

The new HTml 5 is a combination of languages, APIs and other technologies, making the scripts more powerful without any additional scripts, hacks and plugins. Many of major web browsers have started to improve for supporting Html 5, specially in Firefox and Safari. Microsoft IE8 now supports html 5 partially where as Google Chrome since it use the open source Webkit rendering engine, the same one used by Safari, Google Chrome also supports nearly as much as Safari does but slightly differs on video playing as video support is not part of the Webkit project.

The new html 5 will make it as easy to link a video file like we link an image today using html codes and videos could be played without the need of any plugins. Moreover html codes could create a player wrapper with controls for both audio and video playing.
