Miss World 2009 final event ended finally in Johannesburg convention centre, Johannesburg on 12th December 2009. Miss Gibralter, Kaiane Aldorino won the glorious crown of Miss World this year. Kaiane Aldorino is 22-year-old human resources clerk who loves spending times with friends and loved ones. She also likes dancing. After winning the pagent's title, tearful Kaiane Aldorino said" Thank you South Africa, this is the most wonderful moment of my life."

Mexico's Perla Beltran stood second and won crown for 1st runner up where as Tatum Keshwar representing the host country South Africa won 2nd runner up title.

Miss World 2009 was hosted by Chinese television presenter Angela Chow.'The build up to this event has been phenomenal, the girls have had a time of their lives in South Africa,' said Angela Chow.

Former Miss World from India and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra appeared on Miss World 2009 final event as a guest.
