| What shall I do if I lost my iPhone photos? I normally take photos with my iPhone. I think nobody will carry a digital camera or SLRs with him all the time in case that they need photo shoot. From the big event to every small life moment (capturing important moments for meeting minutes, taking pictures of my son’s birthday party, graduation ceremony, wedding party, Christmas gathering party), iPhone has given me a huge favor.
Basically, I backup my images once a week but sometimes was just too busy to make a backup after a long business journey. All photos are stored in my iPhone and I couldn’t afford losing any of the them. Last night I had a nightmare, I dreamed of my iPhone was stolen and all my important files were gone. Without those images I would’t be able to make a report to my clients and superior. That was horrible! After woke up the first thing came to my mind was: What shall I do if I lost my iPhone photos?
I switch on my laptop and type “recover lost photos from iPhone” to see what solutions I can get. The screen is full of titles like “How to Recover Photos from iPad”, “How to restore iPhone Photos”, “What to Do If You Delete Photos from iPhone Accidentally”. First I avoid suggestion of any 3rd party software because I don’t trust those kind of tools. What disappoint me most is 80% info are related to “Data Recovery Software”. After viewing more than 10 pages, I change my mind in the end. Maybe I can have a look at all those programs and make a comparison list to analyze which one is the highest cost performance.
Result of My Analysis After comparing 30+ softwares with similar functions, I draw a conclusion that Myjad iTunes Photo Extractor performs relatively better than most of its rivals. Why? Basing on 3 major reason: 1. It extracts different photos formats like jpg, png, gif, tiff, as well as other media files including mp3, mp4, mov, m4a, mpeg. 2. It restores photos from camera roll, photo stream as well as message attachment. 3. No problem for data lost due to jailbreak, iOS upgrade or factory default setting.
Performance and Reliability It scans all my backups on my computer automatically. Since I backup iPhone and iPad on the same computer so I choose only the one (iPhone) I want to regain my photos from. I am surprised that I can even preview the thumbs before recovery. Hereafter I save them to a new folder and keep a accessible backup on my PC. Throughout the process there’s no crash and everything works smoothly.
Summary Now I keep backups both on computer and iCloud. I somehow get used to the traditional way of baking up so I don’t rely too much on iCloud. If anything goes wrong with my iPhone, I won’t be panic anymore because I have Myjad iTunes Photo Extractor(http://www.myjad.com/itunes-photo-extractor.html).
