PoolStars is a fun pool game in which you can play 8-ball and 9-ball pool, as well as snooker, without having to spend half your salary on a pool table. This virtual pool game lets you practice any modality for as long as you want, and also enroll in online games against people from all over the world.

PoolStars features realistic 3D graphics and physics that depict the environment of a pool room in high detail. Sound effects give the final touch to the scene, making you feel like you're playing pool in that club down the street. Controls, however, could be improved: the strike power and shoot are done via keyboard shortcuts, which doesn't feel anywhere near as realistic as using your mouse back and forth.
