The Stoning of Soraya M is a Hollywood movie based on a true story. The movie received Audience Choice Award in Toronto International Film Festival in Canada. Academy Award nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo shared main theme of the film's story with Jim Caviezel. The drama in the film sets back in 1986 in Iran, where Sahebjam( played by Jim) finds his car breaks in remote village and starts conversation with Zahra (played by Aghdashloo) who relays something about his niece Soraya( played by Marn) who is facing tragic moments of abusive tyrant with whom she was arranged to marriage.
