"The Reader" is the most provocative thriller of 2008 in hollywood. Kate Winslet got Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role Award for this movie. Directed by Stephen Daldry, the movie is based on romantic story that takes place during post World War 2 Period in Germany. The reader is titled Der Vorleser in Germany.

A law student Michael Burk meets his former girlfriend as she defends herself in a war-crime trial and starts a new romantic life with her after ending up 10 years old affair with an older woman.
